"German spies 'can't be trusted': Relations between the UK and Berlin intelligence chiefs hit after comments by London"

"Relations between British and German spy chiefs have hit rock bottom because London says its counterparts in Berlin cannot be trusted to keep secrets. At a time of escalating Islamic terror threats across Europe, Germany’s spy agency BND is being frozen out by GCHQ and the National Security Agency in the US. Both London and Washington believe insecure German data servers have contributed to the leaking of tens of thousands of classified documents to Wikileaks. And they have infuriated Berlin by refusing to hand over secret intelligence data demanded by left wing and Green politicians which they fear will be aired in the German parliament."

"Ex-British ambassador who is now a WikiLeaks operative claims Russia did NOT provide Clinton emails - they were handed over to him at a D.C. park by an intermediary for 'disgusted' Democratic whistleblowers"

"'Neither of [the leaks] came from the Russians,' said Murray in an interview with on Tuesday. 'The source had legal access to the information. The documents came from inside leaks, not hacks.' (...) Murray said he was speaking out due to claims from intelligence officials that Wikileaks was given the documents by Russian hackers as part of an effort to help Donald Trump win the U.S. presidential election. 'I don't understand why the CIA would say the information came from Russian hackers when they must know that isn't true,' he said. 'Regardless of whether the Russians hacked into the DNC, the documents Wikileaks published did not come from that.'"

"Isolated British Muslims are so cut off from the rest of society that they see the UK as 75 per cent Islamic, shock report reveals"

"The major review by the Government’s integration tsar Dame Louise Casey has found that thousands of Muslims live in enclaves with their own housing estates, schools and television channels. Some rarely, if ever, leave their neighbourhoods, and believe that Britain is a Muslim country in which up to three-quarters of the population follow Islam, according to sources who have seen the report. However, figures from the 2011 Census put the actual proportion of Muslims in England and Wales at under five per cent, while Christians account for nearly 60 per cent."

"Forgive me if this is in poor taste but I really DO question Tony Blair's sanity"

"Perhaps the most spine-chilling of many damning details in the Chilcot Report is Blair’s memo to Bush in July 2002 in which he informed the U.S. president, nearly a year before the invasion of Iraq: 'I will be with you, whatever.' To give such an unconditional commitment, neither sanctioned by Parliament nor approved by public opinion, was reckless. And evidence which makes me question his sanity. (...) It seems to me beyond dispute that he is an extreme narcissist — a man who craved power and adulation, especially in America, and in this self-serving cause was in some measure prepared to sacrifice the interests of his country and the lives of British troops."

"Syrian president Assad told MP that Russia's Putin 'will not let him lose'"

"David Davis (...) told BBC One's The Andrew Marr Show: 'He said Putin said 'we will not let you lose', which for me was the most important phrase of the entire visit because that actually defines what the outcomes are going to be. (...) 'If the Russians will not let them lose, then there are two possible outcomes, the jihadist victory, which would be a disaster in my view by the way, the jihadist victory is not on the cards. Either a negotiated outcome or a Syrian victory is on the cards. (...) Mr Davis said he would not make removing Assad 'a red line at the moment'. The Tory MP said that one charity had told him 'there is nobody that the West would recognise as a moderate' on the ground in Syria."

"Obama blasts Cameron for 'free riding' over defence and for leaving Libya a 's***show'"

"In a remarkable insight into the US President's critical view of Mr Cameron's foreign policy, it was revealed today that Mr Obama believed Britain and France were too happy to rely on the US to deal with conflicts on Europe's doorstep. And he warned Mr Cameron last summer that the 'special relationship' between Britain and America would be lost if he refused to commit the UK to spending the Nato target of 2 per cent of GDP on defence. (...) He even went as far as describing the likes of Britain and France as 'free riders,' adding later that he had told Mr Cameron that 'free riders aggravate me' when he had told the PM: 'You have to pay your fair share'. In a damning assessment of Mr Cameron's record in Libya, Mr Obama said bluntly that the intervention 'didn't work' and had left the country a 's*** show'."

"Smoking gun emails reveal Blair's 'deal in blood' with George Bush over Iraq war was forged a YEAR before the invasion had even started"

"A second explosive memo from the same cache also reveals how Bush used 'spies' in the Labour Party to help him to manipulate British public opinion in favour of the war. The documents, obtained by The Mail on Sunday, are part of a batch of secret emails held on the private server of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton which U.S. courts have forced her to reveal."

"How hero Muslim shop assistant hid customers in freezer of Jewish deli after Islamic gunman raided supermarket"

"Lassana Bathily, 24, originally from Mali in west Africa, guided terrified customers to safety in a supermarket chiller at the Hyper Cacher supermarket in Porte de Vincennes, Paris, yesterday. He has since been praised for his quick-thinking and bravery after 15 hostages, which reportedly included two children, escaped the ordeal, in which gunman Amedy Coulibaly was killed as he attempted to flee."

"The forgotten treaty which could drag the US and UK into WAR with Russia if Putin's troops intervene in Ukraine"

"Bill Clinton, John Major, Boris Yeltsin and Leonid Kuchma – the then-rulers of the USA, UK, Russia and Ukraine - agreed to the The Budapest Memorandum as part of the denuclearization of former Soviet republics after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Technically it means that if Russia has invaded Ukraine then it would be difficult for the US and Britain to avoid going to war."

"TV crime dramas like Homeland and Sherlock show why we need snooping laws to catch terrorists, Cameron claims"

"Mr Cameron faced ridicule, including from those in his own party. Tory MP David Davis, who has opposed the snoopers’ charter, said: 'Sadly, you can’t derive policy from watching fictional crime dramas on TV. Policy should be made using hard evidence, strong arguments and proper data, not the exploits of fictional crime fighters.' Lib Dem chairman Tim Farron said: 'Serious policies should be based on evidence, and after to listening to experts, and not based on what you saw on Homeland.'"
