Co-operation Projects

Many national initiatives have discovered counterparts in other countries within the continuously-growing network, and it has given birth to several transnational projects. Here you will find some of the latest pan-European projects launched within NECE.

JuniorVoting
Since 1999 Kumulus e.V. has been carring out JuniorVoting in Germany. Alongside the election of the Lower House of the German Parliament, election of the parliament as well as the European Election simulated pupil elections are prepared and implemented during lectures in the class room. The aim of this project is to practice and to experience democracy.

NECE - Co-operation Projects
GrafStat - Software for Empirical Studies in Civic Education
GrafStat (=graphs and statistics) is a comprehensive programme for statistical survey projects, which by now has proven its usefulness in German citizenship education for more than 20 years. It helps to integrate sociological research methods and computers as important tools into civic education classes.

Vote Match Europe
Vote Match Europe is an educational tool that has the potential to promote European citizenship to better inform citizens about elections for the European Parliament (EP), teach voters about the programmatic differences between the contesting parties and to increase the voter turn out.
