The NECE database is designed to support the networking of organizations and experts in European citizenship education. Subjects covered include education, politics, culture, media and society. This tool will contribute to the exchange of contacts, know-how and publications. The database contains materials for scientific discourse and will facilitate the search for co-operation partners, experts and organisations for European projects in citizenship education. NECE newsletter
The second edition of the NECE newsletter is online now. Apart from other topics, this issue focuses on the EPs new legislative period and the priorities of the Lisbon Strategy regarding citizenship education and social cohesion. Prof. Wolfgang Sander informs about his work and the goals of the newly created Chair of the Didactics of Civic Education at the University of Vienna.
