Digitalization and Citizenship Education was one of the important point of the workshopin Marseille/

For the Eastern European Network for Citizenship Education (EENCE) these annual networking meetings are a tradition well maintained since 2015 when the network was first established. One of the central aims of the last meeting was to provide its members with the time and space to promote the exchange of ideas on annual activities of 2018 and the planning of those of 2019. Additionally, it aimed to promote higher integrity for citizenship education on the basis of the results of the working groups of the network. The network members also elected their new Coordination Council and attended panels and workshops on digitalization and its impact on the civic education field during the annual meeting.

The workshop’s key goals were:
  • Further networking between the members of the Focus Group EENCE
  • Exchange on annual activities of 2018 and planning of 2019
  • Exchange of experience within the NACE network
  • Higher integrity of Citizenship Education on the basis of the results of the working groups of the network
The workshop was organized by the Federal Agency for Civic Education and supported by the Federal Foreign Office.
