First workshop session

In all workshops there will be a theoretical exchange followed by discussions and presentations of good practice. These should illustrate good examples for young people’s engagement in democratic society throughout Europe. The best practice examples should be qualified throughout by the following criteria:
  • School as a democratic learning community
  • Exercising democracy learning in and out-of-school
  • Young people and the right to participate in community decision-making
