Magdalena Scharf ist Diplom-Politologin und Referentin für Regional- und Alumniarbeit bei Aktion Sühnezeichen Friedensdienste e.V. (ASF). Sie schloss ihr Studium der Politikwissenschaft an der Freien Universität Berlin (FU) 2011 ab. Von 2003-2009 war Magdalena Scharf Bildungsreferentin und Geschäftsführerin des Berliner Arbeitskreises für politische Bildung e.V. (bapob). 2009-2012 war sie die Leiterin des ASF-Programms in den USA, mit Sitz in Philadelphia. Ihre inhaltlichen Schwerpunkte liegen u.a. in den Bereichen der Erinnerungskultur, Interkulturelles Lernen und Globales Lernen, Rassismusprävention und Demokratiebewusstsein, Genderproblematiken und Entwicklungs-zuammenarbeit. Sie arbeitete beispielsweise für das Deutsch-Französische Jugendwerk, das Fortbildungszentrum des Goethe-Instituts, Centre d'entraînement aux méthodes d'éducation active (CEMEA) und Engagement Global.

Magdalena Scharf is political scientist and consultant for regional and alumni projects at Action Reconciliation Service for Peace (ARSP). She graduated from Free University Berlin in 2001 with a Master’s Degree in Political Science. From 2003 – 2009 she worked as an educational consultant and executive director for Arbeitskreises für politische Bildung e.V. (working group für civic education - bapob). From 2009 - 2012 Magdalena Scharf was executive director of Action Reconciliation Service for Peace (ARSP) in Philadelphia, USA. She has worked in the field of Culture of Remembrance. Civic Education, with a focus on Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue, Anti-Racism, Anti-Discrimination and Democracy Teaching, Gender Issues as well as Development Cooperation, for example, for the the Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO), the Goethe-Institute, Centre d'entraînement aux méthodes d'éducation active (CEMEA) and Engagement Global.
