This podcast series wants to shed light on the cultures of Holocaust remembrance in different countries.

Dr Yael Granot-Bein is the director of the Weiss-Livnat International MA Program in Holocaust Studies at the University of Haifa, which hosts students from all over the world. In that framework, she established the Innovation Hub for Holocaust Commemoration and Education which aims to foster a culture of innovation and empower young people passionate about the topic to create their own projects of remembrance. In the first episode of histoPOD journalist Annika Brockschmidt talks with Yael Granot-Bein about how the commemoration of the Holocaust in Israel has changed over time and which approaches the Innovation Hub for Holocaust Commemoration and Education pursues.
