Introduction: In October 2018, the European Parliament approved an EU draft directive of the European Commission concerning the reduction of plastic waste. The draft directive determines a reduction of plastic use, especially of disposable plastics. Now, the EU Commission, the European Parliament and the member states have to reach an agreement on the legislative text for the directive (trialogue practice). Subsequently, the implementation of the law is the member state’s responsibility.

M 01.03 Animation Movie about the EU Regulation of Plastic Waste
