In July 2020, the global network People Powered - A Global Hub for Participatory Democracy was founded, aiming to promote exchange between participants in participatory democracy. Now our network is also a member!

In July 2020, the global network People Powered - A Global Hub for Participatory Democracy was founded, aiming to promote exchange between participants in participatory democracy. Now our network is also a member!

What does that mean in concrete terms?

We can...

  • participate in events (currently these are mostly in English)

  • post updates about current developments and innovative projects in Germany on the People Powered page

  • publish resources on the Resources page, including best practices, publications, podcasts, videos, etc.

  • tap into the expertise pooled at People Powered as needed

  • learn exciting information from participatory budgeting projects around the world

  • engage in exchange with other People Powered members

  • We look forward to taking advantage of this opportunity for international networking!
